ANKO AS was founded in 1975 by personnel from the former company Bloms Oppmåling in Stavanger. The name was an acronym of Anlegg og Kommunalservice (Site and Municipal Services).
In 2005 the company established a dedicated department for inspection services in the field of NDT (Non-Destructive Testing) and weld inspection.
In the autumn of 2007 ANKO acquired 50 per cent of the company Sveis og Material Kontroll (SMK).
In autumn 2008 ANKO AS (Stavanger) and ARC Oppmåling AS (Bergen) merged to become the largest independent consultancy company in the field of land surveying and industrial surveying in the west of Norway, as well as a major service provider of all NDT/Inspection methods.
Since its founding, the company has provided technical services in both land surveying and industrial surveying to customers and projects in Norway and abroad. The key to our business is satisfied customers who keep coming back to us.
